Suit, evening, men's, (3 pieces), wool & silk, "Hordern Bros", Sydney, Australia, c. 1925.

Three piece evening suit consisting of jacket, waistcoat and trousers. Made of black wool, the lapels of the jacket and waistcoat are of basket weave silk. Manufacturer's label inside jacket.

Made: Anthony Hordern & Sons; Sydney; 1920 - 1930
Marks
The jacket has two fabric labels with machine embroidered lettering inside the neck "MADE / Hordern Bros. Ltd. / SYDNEY" and "Quality Clothes / Hordern Bros Ltd / MENS & BOYS STORE / 42C GEORGE ST SYDNEY"
