Object statement
Postcard, 'Lyre Birds', depicting two lyre birds, male in foreground displaying tail, and female amongst grassy foliage to rear, 15mm border along the bottom edge only, and handwritten inscription on both sides.
It is inscribed on both sides, and addressed to 'Miss F C. Martin/[Forcett]/Tas', and dated '3.5.06' (on the reverse), and inscribed 'The Lorell Councellors' (on the front) however there is no stamp, or postmark to indicate whether it has actually been posted.

Lyn has got this soiled: excuse him: I would not have you think him ill....", and "Miss F C. Martin/[Forcett]/Tas".
