86/1157-2/5, Newspaper clipping, Â?Woolcraft Winning Entries on View this WeekÂ?, The Sun News-Pictorial, 13 June 1939 indicates the jumper (86/1163), gloves (86/1165) and shoes (86/1166) were on display in The Sun Woolcraft Contest, Newspaper House, 247 Collins Street, Melbourne in June 1939
Pair of high heeled women's shoes with handknitted uppers, leather soles and pale green leather linings. The exterior of the shoes and heels are decorated in black fabric with a floral design embroidered in space-dyed pinks and greens to match jumper 86/1163 and hat 86/1164. Four pink flowers appear on the toe of the shoes and four on the heels surrounded by stems.

Marks
The trademark stitching appears to have been removed from the inner sole of both shoes and on the base of both of them it is imprinted with the size, 38.
