A white, rectangular, paper cardboard with a black and white reproduction portrait of Jean Francoise De Galoup Comte De La Perouse. It is a head and shoulders portrait with details printed underneath. The postcard is unused and states "La Perouse, 1741-1788" with an extended description of the person.

There are no makers marks but there is "POSTCARD" printed to the back of the card and a sqaure box which indicates the place of a stamp
