This is an example of the discount meal vouchers that fast-food chain and Olympic sponsor, McDonalds, gave to members of Games Force 2000 - the accredited workforce that provided labour for the Sydney Olympic and Paralympic Games. The vouchers entitled Games Force personnel to discounted meals while working at Games venues. This provision helped to alleviate some of the personal expenses incurred by volunteers at the Sydney 2000 Games.

With around 47,000 paid staff and volunteers, Games Force provided a range of services that included first aid, transport, security, spectator assistance, technical support and broadcasting operations. On average, its personnel worked ten, eight-hour shifts and in return received a complete uniform and accredited training. TAFE New South Wales led the official training program, educating Games Force personnel in safety issues, teamwork principles, codes of conduct and the staffing. The team formed the largest group of volunteers in the history of the Olympic Games.
