The shoes were produced by Sarra Zienne in Deposse, France.

These props were displayed with the copy of the 'Hero Girl' costume at the "Oi! Oi! Oi!" Exhibition at Sydney Olympic Park in January 2001 and were presented to the Powerhouse Museum by the Olympic Coordination Authority, on behalf of the NSW Government. They are a close copy of those used in the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games, 2000.

Pair of pink plastic jellybean sandals with glitter and three strips of pink ribbon organza. The sandals are size 13 and comprise a T-bar buckle and cross-hatched waist with covered toe and exposed heel. The shoes feature a pair of plastic studded soles with a slightly raised heel and a white plastic buckle at the side with metal hook. The inner soles of the shoes are unlined, but contain a slightly textured surface for grip. The ribbon is transparent with ends cut in the form of a V-shape or straight line.
