Wig, women's, copy of that used in the Opening Ceremony of Sydney 2000 Games.
This wig is a copy of the one used with the Coin Girl costume (2001/84/166), in the Asia segment of the Opening Ceremony.

Description
Wig, women's, copy of that used in the Opening Ceremony of Sydney 2000 Games.

Wig, woman's, reproduction to emulate an ancient Egyptian hairstyle. The wig is made from synthetic black fibres sewn into black net with an elasticised forehead. The hair is shoulder length with a straight short fringe. Around the circumference of the wig is a gold coloured metal chain fringed with tassels that is held in place by 4 metal pins. The chain drops down at the back and has 2 butterfly pendants that hang from the centre of the forehead. Pinned and gaffer taped to the underside of the wig are 2 oval shaped pieces of blue foam. Sewn to the inside back of the wig is a white tag with black text 'Non-Flammable/ 100% Synthetic/ Fibre/ Origin from Japan/ Wig Made in China'
