Road sign attachments (8), Olympic Road and Transport Authority, Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games, metal, made to support Olympic road signs, c.2000
These metal fittings were used to attach Olympic road signs, 2001/84/411 - 2001/84/450, to metal poles in and around Sydney. The signs were erected by the Olympic Roads and Transport Authority (ORTA), and were in use throughout the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The fittings were designed to attach road signs to poles.
The fittings were molded from metal in around 2000.
The metal fittings were used to attach Olympic road signs, 2001/84/411 - 2001/84/450, to metal poles in and around Sydney. The signs were erected by the Olympic Roads and Transport Authority (ORTA), and were in use throughout the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Made for and owned by the Olympic Roads and Transport Authority, and donated to the Powerhouse Museum after use in the Games.
