Toy fish, tin plate, made by Mettoy, Great Britain, c.1955
Made by Mettoy Co. Limited. Henry Ullmann formerly a proprietor of Tipp and Company founded this company after his enforced emigration to England in 1933.Today the company is well known as the manufacturer of the die cast Corgi toys.

Description
Toy fish, tin plate, made by Mettoy, Great Britain, c.1955

Toy tin fish, with a yellow and green body and scales printed in black. Fins are coloured in red, green, black and white across the top middle and sides of fish There is a clockwork motor that allows the back fin to move left to right. The fish is made up of two parts with a connecting seam in the middle of the body.
