A similar photograph was published in the The Australian WomenÂ?s Weekly, 8 November 1967 article Â?Brilliance in Summer silksÂ? pp 24-25, showing colourful Summer Â?Bird of ParadiseÂ? fashion by Sportsgirl and Sportscraft, photographs taken by model and photographer Janice Wakely in Papua New Guinea, Janice appears in one of the photographs with TAA aircraft (see p24 top right).
Photograph on top right of page 25 shows this model in the same stylish Â?Bird of ParadiseÂ? print shift with diagonal armholes and roll collar with matching hairpiece, priced about $22, photograph taken at Karimui, relates to photograph 97/272/1-3/136
