This hand tinted photographic print taken on 21 September 1943, features Mrs Norman Spencer (nee Millard) in a wedding dress that was originally intended for an unknown bride. Initially, the dress was sent in 4 pieces comprising the train with skirt, sleeves and bodice to Australia possibly from Ireland. Mrs Spencer came by the dress through a Red Cross Society Raffle and had it made up by a local seamstress.

The quality of workmanship and detail of the lace is very evident in this photograph.

This wedding portrait was taken by an unknown photographer from the Dayne Portrait Studio, Sydney, in 1943 and features Mrs Norma Spencer (nee Millard).

Hand tinted portrait format photographic print of female bride in wedding dress. Dress is full length with a small train and decorated with Irish lace. It is worn with long nylon tulle veil. Bride holds a cascading bouquet of white flowers with greenery and a white ribbon. She stands at the bottom of a staircase with a wall mounted flower arrangement in the background.
