Toy plane, Dinky Cierva Autogiro (60f), metal, made by Meccano Ltd, Liverpool, England, 1934-1936
Toy Cierva Autogiro made from die-cast metal and finished in gold paintwork with blue tin-plate rotors. The toy is representative of a full-size wingless Autogiro, the forerunner of the helicopter, which derived lift and control through three rotor blades.
