Letter, G E Vaughan to Wunderlich Limited, Wunderlich Limited, Redfern, New South Wales, Australia, 8 April 1980
Letter from G E Vaughan of Strathfield, New South Wales to Wunderlich Limited. In the letter headed 'Wunderlich History in Australia', Vaughan discusses the manufacture and installation of the company's 'Terra-alba' masonry and the recruitment of his father, Harry Vaughan, of Glendale, California, USA, as Works Superintendent at Wunderlich Limited's Rosehill works. Vaughan also attached a photocopy of a press clipping from the Glendale newspaper of September 1923 entitled 'Plan to Spend Three Years in Australia' which stated that the Vaughan family planned to live in Australia for the next three years. Below the press clipping, Vaughan has provided a transcript of its contents.
