Press clipping of an article entitled 'Land Nobody Wants' published in 'The Sun' newspaper on 19 February 1959 p15 about a strip of land in Carthona Avenue, Darling Point, New South Wales, bequeathed by Ernest Wunderlich to the Red Cross Society in his will. The land was steep and the Woollahra Council was demanding that the Red Cross repair the retaining walls. The Red Cross had no use for the land and could not afford to repair the retaining walls. The organisation had entered into negotiations with Woollahra Council to take over the land. The article mentioned another block of land in Darling Point bequeathed to the Red Cross by Ernest Wunderlich which it also did not want.
