Banner, 'WCTU / FOR GOD / FOR HOME / FOR HUMANITY', velvet / cotton/ satin / metal, used by the Woman's Christian Temperance Union of New South Wales, 1882-1982

Rectangular panel of blue velvet with white satin lettering appliqued in landscape orientation 'WCTU / FOR GOD / FOR HOME / FOR HUMANITY'. Also appliqued to the front are two bunches flannel flowers in white cotton. A gold metallic fringe adorns the bottom edge. The whole is edged with gold metallic rope and backed with blue cotton.
