This photograph shows model Maggi Eckardt wearing a romantic chocolate and white ribbon textured Ninette skirt and blouse in 1968.
Hazel Benini recalls that she took a risk choosing Maggi, a former Paris-based Balenciaga model, for this shot as it was her first PR job and neither she nor Bruno had worked with Maggi previously. Maggi who was also expensive at $30 an hour, turned up with several wigs on wig heads under her arm.
Hazel had borrowed the table and kettle from Joel's auction rooms, which were across the road from Bruno's studio. The tablecloth, one of her many props, was a length of tasselled velvet curtain used by Hazel to great affect!
