Pat Corrigan, a successful self-made Australian businessman is an avid art, photography and design collector. These bookplates were commissioned by him for his own library or as gifts for use by close family members - Barbara Corrigan, Kylie Corrigan, Joel Corrigan, Ryan Corrigan, David Corrigan.

Most are process offset photolithographic prints, though three are original prints - these are by Lloyd Rees, Rubery Bennett and Peter Hickey. Thirteen of the bookplates are signed.

Many of the artists invited to create the plates were not associated with bookplates or commissioned works, so this gives these plates special significance.
