Description
Slate pencil, slate, maker unknown, made in Portugal, 1900-1925

Pencil made of slate with one end sharpened to a point. Remnants of printed paper covering are glued around the pencil shaft. The wrapping is printed in blue on white, with a scroll design.
Marks
Place of manufacture painted in blue on paper covering, 'MADE IN PORTUGAL'.
