Landscape-format, black and white glass plate negative depicting a cottage and garden with men in the foreground. The house features a bull-nose corregated iron veranda, two chimneys, a fenced rain water tank and a garden filled with vines. The house has been identified as 'Donnybrook' at Bungowannah, 15 km east of Albury. On the verandah are Ephraim Shipard and his children Stanley and Bessie, and the older man leaning on the fence is his father William Shipard. -57 is a close up of the same family.
