A rectangular black and white cellulose nitrate negative in portrait format showing the interior of an observation dome. A large telescope, can be seen in the centre of the room and shelving can be seen on either side of the telescope. One of the shelves holds a tape chronograph, on another shelf a chronometer can be seen. On the shelf below the chronometer are large glass bottles. The top right corner has become detached from the negative.
