A rectangular black and white silver gelatin glass plate positive showing an image of the Moon. Craters and details of the moons surface can be seen in the image. Accompanying the glass plate is its original storage envelope.

In pencil on the front of the envelope 'Positive / Whole Moon / July 23'.
