Description
Cloche hat, straw / fabric, made by Condor Hats, c. 1925

Deep crowned crimson coloured woven straw hat, with elliptical brim. The left side of the brim is pressed into a pleat, and the hat band of crimson silk satin ribbon spirals from a bow at the front left, around the head and out to another bow at the edge of the brim on right. The brim edge is lined with bias crimson coloured silk. Inside, the hat is lined with beige coloured silk taffeta. Inside the crown of the hat, 'Condor Hat' is embroidered in dark brown into the lining.
