Program, Newsome's Grand Circus, Glasgow, paper, T C Barlow, Glasgow, Scotland, 1885

Program for a performance of Newsome's Grand Circus held at Ingram St, Glasgow, Scotland, in 1885. Various acts featuring members of the Weatherly Sisters' extended family have been indicated using red pen. On the front cover there are portrait sketches of James and Pauline Newsome, a drawing of James Newsome riding a horse in the circus ring, and other drawings of horses performing a range of tricks. Throughout the program there are other drawings of performers.
