Description
Mould, [chocolate], koala shaped, aluminium, unknown maker, [Australia], unknown date. Two concave pieces of metal moulded into the 3 dimensional form of a koala and hinged together at base. One piece is shaped as the back of the koala, the other piece is shaped as the front. The koala is depicted in profile, clinging to a tree trunk, head turned to face the front. The two halves are hinged together at the end of a rectangular plate of metal protruding from the base of each piece. Each side is pierced down the centre by a vertical row of three holes.
The Registration Number of an object is a unique identifying number applied by the museum at the point of acquisition. Current numbering format comprises the year of acquisition, followed by a sequential number.
