Three seater sofa, 'Sunset in New York', with a plywood frame, covered in polyurethane foam, dacron padded and fully upholstered in fabric. The sofa is constructed in four sections with the shapes and fabrics representing the sun setting over the New York skyline. The central backrest is semi-circular shaped, padded and upholstered in red fabric representing the sun rising. The seat of the sofa consists of three sections of varying sized blocks. The seat sections are padded with foam and covered in two different fabrics, cream with blue squares and grey with blue squares, woven to represent the windows of high rise buildings. The central seat has two armrests and the other seat sections consist of a seat and backrest. All sections are mounted onplastic slide bases and each section is loosely joined by tubular steel brackets on the underside.
