Description
Slippers, pair, shellwork, maker uknown, made in La Perouse, New South Wales, Australia, 1945

Pair of cardboard slippers with inner sole, quarter and base decorated with shell grit. The vamp is decorated with various shells originally arranged as a flower with mica chips adhered to the surface with an orange-coloured paste. A green velveteen border has been pasted to the edge of the slippers.
