Tray, 'Leaving Home', from the 'Solitary Pleasures' series, wheel thrown porcelain, made by Janet DeBoos, Brindabella Ranges, Australian Capital Territory, Australia, 2005
Large circular tray made from wheel-thrown porcelain and coated with a clear glossy glaze. It is ribbed with a semi-translucent surface and has a straight rim leaning slightly inwards. The tray features a swirl pattern. The tray is from Janet DeBoos' 'Leaving Home' collection and is part of the 'Solitary Pleasures' series.
