The envelope was issued in Poland, 1961.
Yuri Gagarin was a Soviet cosmonaut who became the first human to journey into outer space on 12 April, 1961.

Description
White envelope with black and red design of diagonal stripes, a star and human figure on the left side. Underneath a title reads 'And a Man in Space' in Polish. In the upper right corner are two Polish stamps, one featuring Yuri Gagarin and other featuring a globe surrounded by a line and star. The postmark is from Warsaw and dated 27 April 1961 and commemorates the first human flight into space.
