Philatelic cover, Vostok 3 & 4 manned space flights, paper, issued in the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, 1963
The envelope and stamps were issued in the Democratic Republic of Vietnam in 1963.
The Vostok program was a Soviet human spaceflight project. It resulted in a person being placed into orbit for the first time. Vostok 6 resulted in the first woman in space. Vostok 3 & 4 were the first simultaneous flight of two manned spacecraft.

Philatelic cover, Vostok 3 & 4 manned space flights, paper, issued in the Democrative Republic of Vietnam, 1963

Envelope with three Vietnamese stamps attached. The stamps depict the Vostok 3 and 4 cosmonauts against traditional Asian art. The third stamps shows a globe with two spacecraft circling it. There are three postmarks stamped on the envelope from Hanoi, dated 11 and 12 August 1963.
