Philatelic cover, 1st Team Manned Space flight Vostok 3 & 4, paper, issued in North Korea, 1962
The envelope and stamp were issued in North Korea in 1962.
The Vostok program was a Soviet human spaceflight project. It resulted in a person being placed into orbit for the first time. Vostok 6 resulted in the first woman in space. Vostok 3 & 4 were the first simultaneous flight of two manned spacecraft.

Philatelic cover, 1st Team Manned Space flight Vostok 3 & 4, paper, issued in North Korea, 1962

Envelope with drawing of spacecraft flying up into the air against a background of a globe on an axis. There is a North Korean stamp in the upper right corner that depicts a globe with a Soviet flag and a spacecraft flying away from it. There is a black ink postmark with Korean text and consists of a globe and spacecraft and the date 12 November 1962. At the lower centre of the envelope is handwritten text in pencil.
