Photographic print, black & white, large wall sign advertising the film "The Big Pond" starring Maurice Chevalier at the Prince Edward Theatre, designed by Rousel Studios, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, 1930

Large wall sign by artist Stan Denford of Rousel Studios advertising "The Big Pond" starring Maurice Chevalier at the Prince Edward Theatre, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The sign features a picture of Maurice Chevalier wearing a tuxedo and straw boater with his fists clenched and his arms raised as if her were singing on stage. A triangular shape at the bottom right of the picture has the words, "In/'The/BIG/POND'" enclosed inside it. Running diagonally across the top of the triangle is the name, "MAURICE CHEVALIER". The name of "ROUSEL STUDIOS" is at the bottom right of the sign. This is the same sign as in image 2002/105-1-12 but from a slightly wider angle.
