Description
Five rectangular mosaic panels each comprised of multiple small darkly colored squares of glass, ceramic and slate tiles on various levels in matt and gloss finishes, in a variety of textures, creating a three dimensional aesthetic to the work, paying homage to the artists interpretation of the first verse of Genesis, articulated by the artist as;
Â?In the beginning god created heavens and the earth and the earth was in no order or direction and there was darkness over the abyss and the spirit of God hovered brooding over the face of the waters".
A wooden plaque, painted white with black text quotes the artists rendering of Genesis which accompanies the five mosaic panels.
