Description
Clothing accessory , cape/ wall hanging, printed cotton, Takuya Angel, Japan, c 2000
Black cotton drill cape printed in the centre with the Takuya Angel signature winged creature. On either side of the creature is a green and white circle depicting a stylised target and arrows, a symbol that often appears on garments by Takuya Angel. The symbol plays the role of a 'mon' or crest of the sort historically used in Japan to identify different families or clans, in this case the Takuya Angel clan. There are three large spots (green, blue and orange) in each corner of the cloth. The cape can also be used as a wall-hanging or gathered up into a bag.
