Description
Regalia, Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes, awarded to R. Hastings on 20 July 1887. Rose gold oval medal with a gold border consisting of a belt motif with engraved scroll decoration and two small white gems. Applied gold buffalo head in the centre with red gems for eyes. Medal is surmounted by scroll design and a suspension ring. Dark blue ribbon with two gold bars: lower bar attached to the suspension ring and upper bar with pin. Engraved decoration on bars and initials of society in gold applied letters on upper bar. Details of award engraved on reverse of medal.
