Unopened rectangular glass bottle with slightly indented base, inversted shoulders forming neck with moulded rim, facetted sides and cork stop. Filled with thick brown liquid.
Coloured label on front advertising product. Brown and white label attached to front neck of bottle. Black and white label attached to back provides directions and uses.
Cork is broken off, in line with top of glass rim.

Label on front in red, yellow and blue, has text reading 'WOOD'S / GREAT / PEPERMINT CURE / FOR / COUGHS, / COLDS / DIRECTIONS ... / W.E. WOODS LTD / INCORPORATED IN / NEW ZEALAND / Manufacturing / Chemists / SYDNEY'.
Brown label with white text around rim 'SHAKE / THE BOTTLE'.
