Prepared microscope slides (19) in a box, glass / wood / metal / paper, various makers, Great Britain and Australia, late 19th Century.

Wooden box, covered with blue book paper and fitted inside with grooves to hold vertically 19 glass slides. The box has a lid, hinged to the body by the book paper.

The slides include both microslides painted images and biological specimens.
