Writing cabinet made between c. 1869-1897 on Malden Island, South Pacific, from timber salvaged from one of the several sailing ships wrecked off Malden Island (Bay of Wrecks). Size 18 1/2" x 11" x 4 1/2". Consists of writing Board, compartment for writing materials, front removable panel containing 2 ink bottle compartments, 3 draws and two trays. (SB).

Writing cabinet made between c. 1869-1897 on Malden Island, South Pacific, from timber salvaged from one of the several sailing ships wrecked off Malden Island (Bay of Wrecks).
