(Part 1) Violin, two piece soundboard with wide vertical grain, two piece back with pronounced straight curl on left hand side curl faint with vertical grain more prominant, the halves are not well matched. Finished with orangish brown colouring. Ebony fingerboard, grained wooden chinrest, brown wood tuning pegs, purfling top and back, two fine tuning knobs on tailpiece for two top treble strings.
(Part 2) Case, contoured top with flexible leather handle, blue felt lining, compartment contains 15 bridges of various makes, chinrest, adjusting pin.
(Part 3) Fine tuner, steel.
(Part 4) Sound post, wood.
