Ship Model, Mediterranean galley 14th - 18th century, made by Mr Ivor Karnincich, Australia (OF). Scale model of a Mediterranean galley; typical of the ships that sailed the Mediterranean from the 14th to the first half of the 18th century. Fitted with 22 wooden oars on each side, 2 sails (1 blue & 1 cream) 1 blue and 1 cream flag at each masthead and 1 cream flag at stern. Overall length: 39", width 24", height: 25 1/2" (SB).
