Replica of 15th century German armour

Donated by Mrs Cippico of Hertfordshire in 1965. The armour was made for her by Paul Hardy when she was a girl.

Miniature knight seated on a war horse, dressed in removable full armour and mounted on a wooden plinth. The armour consists of interlocking steel plates held together by a series of brass and steel rivets and hinges. The knight figure is adjustable to sit or stand, the horse is in a fixed position. The miniature is a replica of a 15th century German knight and war horse.
-1 knight, -2 sword, -3 hammer, -4/1:2 spur and ankle armour, left foot, -5/1:2 spur and ankle armour, right foot, -6 guard, -7 guard, -8 sword belt, -9 old museum label, -10 cord, blue, -11 sword sheath, -12 horse, -13 lance.
