Skirt, plum velvet, centre panel of brocaded silk, bustle and train at rear, with under skirt attached, c. 1890 (OF). Velvet, Skirt of plum coloured velvet & embossed brocade - long & full with train, ruching of brocade at front hemline. Period 1880 (SB). (Part of ensemble, see H6181 for jacket)
