Morning dress, womens, silk / velvet / lace, maker and place unknown, early 1860s

Morning dress: in form of robe, calico lined throughout, which fastens upper part of front by 6 covered button-holes. High neck, small standup collar, square yoke at front, edge by lace. Front panel bottle green foulard silk, full inset sleeves of foulard ending in velvet cuff. Watteau pleat at back, commencing at neckline. Lace flounce at bottom, ribbon trimming. Skirt slightly longer at back. Period early 1860's.(SB).
