Clog, miniature, straight one of pair, wood, maker unknown, France, late 19th century
Straight one of a pair, miniature or infants clogs (wooden shoes), carved from one piece of wood with a pointed toe featurng a crescentic hook and heel carved in one with the rest of the clog. The carved polished wood clog features a high cut vamp, pierced on the inside to tie the pair together.
