Womens straight toe peg clog sandal, right of pair, constructed from a single piece of wood, the peg hammered through the sole with a nail to fix, wide oval toe peaked in the centre over a square sole and stilt heel peaked at centre back. Clog sandal consists of a shaped sole with rounded ends which widen at the centre to a scalloped edge, a toe peg between the first and second toe with a thin spindle and flat top. Top of one toe peg missing. Insole, stilts and pegs are inlaid with brass in a trellis pattern, scrolls and whirls. Heel and sole consist of a stilt which is hollow.
