Drawer handle, plastic [phenol-formaldehyde / urea-formaldehyde resin], brass, made by Commonwealth Moulding Pty Ltd, Arncliffe, New South Wales, Australia, 1942

A marbled dark red plastic drawer handle. The handle is in a hexagonally moulded cylindrical form with a bulbous centre and tapering end to splay out again into a hexagonal, flat ended discs. It has brass screw fittings inserted at each end.
