Philatelic cover, Jubilee air mail Australia to New Zealand, signed, paper, sent by E Crome, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, 1935
Envelope carried on the aircraft 'Southern Cross' between Australia and New Zealand. The envelope has been signed by many people involved in the mail flight, including P G Taylor and John Stannage. There is an Australian stamp in the upper right corner commemorating the Silver Jubilee of King George V's reign and depicting the King in uniform on a horse. There is a postmark from Newtown, NSW, dated 15 May 1935. There is a pencil notation on the back of the envelope.
