The maker of the envelope is unknown but it was sent by E Crome from Sydney.

Description
Philatelic cover, Australia to New Zealand on the aircraft 'Southern Cross', paper, sent by E Crome, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, 1934

Brown paper envelope flown on the aircraft 'Southern Cross' from Australia to New Zealand and return. The envelope has a 2p Australian stamp depicting King George V and a 1d New Zealand stamp depicting a female figure with a globe and ship in the background. There are two black ink postmarks, one from Newtown, NSW, dated 12 January 1934 and the other from New Plymouth, New Zealand, and dated 15 January 1934. The envelope has been signed by P G Taylor and John S W Stannage. On the back of the envelope is a black ink postmark from Enmore, NSW, dated 22 January 1934.
