Lace length, Brussels lace, sectional bobbin lace technique, made of linen which includes a design of a wave floral pattern and picoted headside. The design consists of a wave floral, leaf and vine motif which effloresces into a mesh ground. This lace length is constructed using bobbin lace technique, the solid areas of the design are working in cloth or half stitch with stem stitch raised work. The small areas of the design are constructed using cross byplaited and picotred brides and the larger space are constructed using fillings of various kinds, which includes a diamong arrangement of plaits and picots, a linear arrangement of bud stars and cloth stitch-square, an arragement of a very interesting 'star shape', diagonally place and a diagonal arrangement of four-petal flower-like shapes in cloth stitch, outline with gimp. The Droschel ground is plaited 5 times and twisted twice. Very fine thread is used in this piece. This length of lace is made of linen.
