A Limerick lace border embroidered net and needle lace techniques, probably made of cotton. Border is rectangular in shaped and includes a scrolling floral design featuring tulip and daisy shaped flower motifs, connected to vines with leaves. Border is made using a net ground and is embroidered using chain stitch to outline floral design. Flower shapes and motifs are filled using a range of needle lace designs. Lace is made using embroidered net and needle lace techniques and is probably made of cotton
