Anatomical model of a human eye made from plaster, glass and papier-mache. The outside of the eye is painted cream with a dark brown octagonal base and red-brown colouring indicating the muscles. The eye comprises five parts including the base and eye socket, the eyeball, the inner and outer covering of the lid and the skin of the face.
Marks
On the exterior of the skin covering the eye are black printed letters on small square pieces of paper including 'A', 'B', 'D', 'E' and 'M'.
